Do you remember in elementary school using construction paper and weaving strips of paper through pre-made slits that resulted in a placemat? We will be visiting this method, but using fabric. I will demonstrate making strips out of fabric, prepare the surface for weaving and how to weave a couple layout patterns. This gives a great opportunity to use up scraps or design a fabric for a special project. The fabric can be used for pillows, bags, placemats, totes, zipper pouches, yoke for clothing, potholders and so much more.
