Serger Decorative Wave

Any serger that can do a 3-thread stitch can create this decorative technique to your fabric. We have found a wonderful 12 weight Perle Cotton thread by Valdani which works perfect for creating a decorative finish to any project. This demonstration will show where to put the decorative threads in the serger, how to prepare and mark the fabric for serging and tips for directional serging. The sewing machine is also a needed tool to create the wave look of this beautiful embellishment that can be made into a throw pillow, tote, zipper bag, table runner, or insert into a denim jacket or anything else you may want to add an insert to.
