Spring has arrived! This is a great time to create these beautiful towels to display in your home at this time of year.

You will be creating your applique fabric by choosing fabrics in pastels or coordinating colors to complement your home. The strips will be made by running through a bias tape maker as you press with an iron. The pressed strips will then be placed side by side and pressed to a fusible interfacing and using a decorative stitch will be sewn down between the strips for an added feature. This new fabric that has been created will then be used as the fabric for the applique heart, shamrock, egg, bunny or the “Made with Love” heart. The five designs will be complimentary at the time of class with a value of $25.00.

Four designs require a 5″ x 7″ hoop, but the “Made with Love” heart will need a 6″ x 10″ hoop.

The towel can be purchased at the time of class, or you may bring a towel you may already have.
